If you are, or have been, a student with us, then please note that we are required to retain personal data about you for the purposes of tax and educational records, as well as to furnish you with records of certification should you so request at some future date.
DIRECT AND INDIRECT MARKETING
We may occasionally carry out market research and send you e-zines and details of services and offers that we think will be of interest to you.
If you are receiving marketing information from us and no longer wish to receive such information please email email@example.com or alternatively, when we send you an e-zine, it will contain a provision to allow you to opt out of receiving any further information from us.
We do not currently participate in indirect marketing, and should this policy change, we will update this privacy statement accordingly.
DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may provide information about you to our employees, tutors, agents, partner academies and external awarding and validating bodies, in order to administer any accounts, products and services provided to you by the Academy.
Your personal information will not otherwise be knowingly disclosed to a third party unless we have reason to believe a crime is about to, or has taken place, or we are required to do so by law.

We use session cookies (stored on your computer until you close out your browser) to provide advanced website functionality. No personal data is collected from session cookies, and you cannot be personally identifiable from their use. We cannot guarantee the proper functioning of our website should session cookies be disabled.
First class cookies are also stored on your PC for the purposes of statistical data collection. We use a third party service to aggregate this non-personal data which cannot be used to personally identify you. We take security very seriously and employ best practices to ensure that your personal data is safeguarded at all times. Your personal data is processed by us via our web host who also employs the strictest security standards in accordance with best industry practice.
We do not store your credit card details. When you make a payment on our site, your details are securely processed by a third party payment gateway.
Personal data, such as contact details that you supply to us for the purposes of information requests and so on, are regularly deleted by us. We delete your personal data when the reason for the communication with you no longer exists.
This does not apply to students, since we are obliged to hold records in order to process requests (pre and post-graduation), confirm awards, issue transcripts, re-issue certification, and comply with taxation and other legislative requirements.
RIGHT TO ACCESS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
You are entitled to get a copy of any information we store about you. You have the right to have any inaccuracies rectified and you have the right to have the information deleted if we have no legitimate reason to be in possession of it.

Where the request involves furnishing you with a copy of the information held, we will charge you a fee of not more than EUR6.35. To protect against fraudulent requests, we ask you to help us by furnishing us with 2 documents as proof of identity. Please also enclose your name, return address and a contact number.
